The Jr. Technician's primary responsibilities include:
Inspect, diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems
Interpret electrical shematics, one line diagram, power distribtion (480 VAC) in reference to layout, location, and operation of the system(s)
Perform preventative maintenance in accordance with scheduled maintenance program
Other responsibilities include:
Communicate with various parties on the work performed and present status of specialty systems.
Preventative Maintenance-Inspection, adjustment, cleaning, replacement.
Attending to call outs, faults, alarms and warnings. Attending to stoppages and bag jams.
Must pass a ten year pre-employment background check.
Must possess a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Must have a valid California driver's license.
Ability to work a non-traditional schedule including weekends and holidays.
Previous technical experience in an industrial environment preferred.
Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures related to equipment repair.
Knowledge of general workplace safety requirements and procedures.
Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and controls (PLC, PC) systems.
Minimum 1 year CMMS experience.
