Education and Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and minimum of one year of customer service experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. One year of Food service experience preferred but not required and six months of Hospitality and/or restaurant experience preferred but not required.
Must be able to pass a 10 year background check.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Required Training: California Food Handler’s Certificate

To provide the Airport Lounge with beverages, light refreshments.
Ensure that the lounge and kitchen and service areas are kept clean, tidy and free of all debris and to the highest standard. Provide a pleasant and friendly attitude to fellow asscociates and lounge guests.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Set up bar and food and beverage service to specific standards.
Prepare lounge to receive passengers.
Offer types of service as specified for the lounge.
Routinely busses lounge area
Routinely refills bar and food and beverage as required.
Routinely stocks products in kitchen.
Occasionally Wash crockery, silver and glassware.
Keeps all floor services clean and debris free within the lounge, bar area, corridors, storerooms, restrooms and kitchen to the highest standards
Dispose of debris found in lounge and other areas of responsibility.
Communicate any product shortages
Clean and sanitize shower room as needed.
Record and receive deliveries of supplies.
Assist with unloading and organizing of deliveries and stocking of goods received.
Serve and assist passengers as required in a polite, friendly, helpful but discreet manner.
Continues normal service when flight delays occur.
Stock shelves and prepares items for the next shift of following day’s service.
Ensure security of stock and equipment.
Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point guidelines for: all ready to eat foods and food preparation
Display UK newspapers and magazines from inbound flight and offer to FIRST.
Ensures that all aspects of health and safety are adhered to.
Completes all required company documentation and logs as requested.
Familiar with customer access rules and Front Desk Help
Co-operate with and performs any other management requests.
Make Sandwiches according to standards and policy (if needed)
Follow all Food Safety and Sanitation requirements
Checking Tempatures of hot and cold food
Proficiency using a knife and cutting vegetables
