Time: 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Location (directions below): SFO Business and Career Center
2 year technical degree; or currently enrolled pursuing technical degree
Minimum 3 years of experience strongly preferable
Demonstrated understanding of mechanical and electrical functions, as well as ability to accurately diagnose and identify problems.
Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical components
Ability to perform mechanical and electrical maintenance and trouble shooting
Ability to keep accurate written records
Valid California Driver’s License
Ability to work scheduled shift including weekends and holidays.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
OTHER TRAINING PROVIDED:
Safety and Security clearance and identification
Cash handling procedures
Direct Connect training
Inspect all equipment, including; carts, CMU’s, and all cart moving devises is essential for a safe and efficient operation.
Learn, practice, and enforce safe work habits thus assuring safety to self, co-workers, airport property, passengers and visitors
Perform maintenance repairs as needed on all equipment
Learn and maintain database to track work performed
Establish, organize and replenish through regular inventory a parts supply warehouse
Maintain a clean, organized, and controlled work area; maintain organized parts supply
Preventative maintenance to be completed on the following equipment but not limited to: CMUs, Cushman’s, Quick carts, tuggers, smarte pedes, carts and cart tracks, flat-bed lift gate
Maintenance and regular testing of phone lines and BNAC lines and wireless pre-authorization system
R&M completion on all repairs of CMUs
Clean carts, CMU’s and cart moving equipment as needed
Additional duties as assigned
Directions to the Center:
Exit the BART station into the International Terminal. Walk to the information booth. Turn left to the 1st hallway marked "Business and Career Center."
Park in the International Parking Garage G.
Take the elevator to the 7th floor, take AirTrain (Red Line) to the International Terminal G side, one stop over. Exit the train, take the escalator down, go the Information Booth and ask for directions to the Business and Career Center.
