  • Overview

    The Bus Driver/Operator works under the general supervision of Dispatch and is directly responsible to the General Manager. Upon completion of the Training Program, the employee will assist in driving routes The Bus Driver/Operator will provide written reports as required by management and/or the client, i.e. Accident or Incident Reports, Passenger counts, Vehicle Inspection Reports, or any other written documentation related to the performance of the service and/or vehicles operated.  The Bus Driver/Operator will bid for a route.  This position will be responsible to act upon and perform any other duties as assigned.  This role operates a variety of motor vehicles to transport passengers along specific, assigned routes in accordance with Hallcon Corporation and the San Francisco International Airport requirements.


    Read, write, and speak English and perform basic mathematical procedures

    Must possess good communication skills

    Assist our passengers and provide exceptional customer service

    No more than two moving violations and/or accidents in the last three years, and no DUI’s

    Must be able to work on call during the week as well as evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays

    Licensed driver for at least six (6) years

    Must have Class A or B license with Passenger and Air Brake Endorsements

    Must have or be able to obtain a valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate

    Must be able to obtain clearance from the appropriate Union Local No. 665


    Transports passengers, Long-Term Parking and Employees, along assigned routes as directed in scheduled service, making designated stops as required

    Provides information to all passengers

    Completes reports on passenger counts, vehicle mileage, vehicular deficiencies, accidents and other reports as required

    Operates automatic lift on buses equipped and assists passengers in wheelchairs, using crutches or walkers, or who have speech or mental difficulty

    Ensures that your commercial driving status remains active, current and in good standing.

    Failure to maintain a commercial License, current DMV and medical certification may be cause for termination

    Knows and follows the safety, health and safe working practices applicable to his or her job
