A Seat Technician provides services to ReadyJet clients on various types of aircraft, based on defined procedures implemented by ReadyJet, as well as client specific criteria specified in written contracts. Employee is expected to take whatever means are necessary to ensure the service is completed within client’s expectations. Services are completed in adherence with written policies to ensure safe, efficient, and timely execution. Services may be provided independently or in a team mode with other ReadyJet employees.
Essential Job Functions:
Performs cleaning, conditioning and ink removal on leather seat covers via procedures as outlined by ReadyJet and client.
Performs removal and replacement of leather and fabric seat covers via procedures as outlined by ReadyJet and client.
Ensures that seat mechanical devices remain undamaged from removal and installation for cover.
Reports immediately, any damage to client property including electrical and mechanical devices.
Reports immediately any ‘Found Item’ on the aircraft.
Reports immediately any missing or damaged items found on the aircraft.
Operates mechanized airport vehicle to deliver self and equipment and supplies to aircraft.
Performs with a high level of attention to detail, safety policies and strict adherence to procedures during cleaning.
Prepares and submits required written reports which may include training records, request for supplies, and a summary of incidents or found/damaged items.
