• Wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriate for the job.
• Follow all federal, state, airport, and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Build good relationships with customers and airport authorities.
• Report any irregularities and take appropriate action.
• Build and maintain good management/workforce relations.
• Ensure that the workforce adheres to company policies and procedures.
• Load, unload, and transport passengers' bags to/from aircraft, using bag carts, dollies, and conveyor belts.
• Drive and/or operate ground equipment, such as tow tractors, tow bars, belt loaders, container loaders, baggage tugs, etc.

 

Salary rate: $22.25 per hour

4:30 pm – 1:30 am. Must be available on weekdays and weekends.

Previous experience in the aviation industry or in a similar role is preferred

 

• Must have a current and valid California Driver's License
• Able to secure an SFO Airport Badge and Customs Seal
• Ability to lift 50 lbs independently
• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Highly motivated and able to work well independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to multi-task and establish priorities in a dynamic and changing environment.
• Must always maintain a professional appearance and mannerisms.
• Able to work collaboratively as a productive member of the Samsic Airport America Team

• Must be physically able to perform the job's essential duties, including standing, lifting, bending, stooping, walking, crawling, pushing, and pulling for extended periods.

• Push, pull, lift, and load up to 70 pounds (32kg) regularly.

• Work outside in all types of weather and around jet machinery noises. Other duties as assigned.
