Covenant Aviation Security (CAS) has immediate openings for full and part time California Licensed Security Guards.  Security Guards are responsible for day-to-day security of airport perimeters.

Starting wage is $23.21

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for securing secured areas of the airport and prohibiting individuals from entering or taking prohibited items into secured areas.
  • Carry out duties in a professional and courteous manner, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications:

    • Must possess a current California Guard Card
    • Must have high school diploma, GED or equivalent
    • Must be able to read, write and speak English proficiently
    • Applicant must be able to pass background check and drug test
    • Must be able have flexibility in the schedule.  May have to work various shifts, weekends and holidays.
    • Must be able to successfully complete classroom and on-the-job training
    • Must be 18 or older

     

    Physical Demands:

    •  The position requires the ability to bend at the knees and stand for long periods of time.
    • The position requires constant lifting, twisting and bending
