The Cashier/Barista is the point person that provides the best service to those travelers with limited time for a sit-down meal, but who are looking for a quick quality snack before or during their flight.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $21.00 - $22.05 per hour

Application Question(s):

Experience:

• cashier: 1 year (Preferred)
• barista: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• California Food Handler Card (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Night Shift (Preferred)

Work Location: In person

• Ability to describe products-such as menu ingredients and prices
• Ability to use POS system and handle credit/cash transactions correctly
• Must be able to do side work and always keep the place orderly, stocked, and set up for success
• Maintain knowledge of Grab and Go inventory and sales
• Must be able to perform other duties as assigned

• 2 years of customer service experience in a similar establishment, preferred
• Strong Food & Beverage knowledge
• Experience as a Barista, a plus
• History of tenure at previous jobs
• Must be able to pass SFO Airport background check

Strongly Preferred:

• Must be a team player and open to learn
• Experience in a food establishment preferred
  

Classification & Compensation:

• Rate range: $21 to $22.05 per hour, plus tips
• This is a full-time position (Union)
• One free meal per shift
• Medical benefits (vision/dental)- full-time for employee + family
• Pension for retirement
• Vacation/Sick/Holiday pay

Supervision:

This position is supervised by the General Manager

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• On your feet for long periods, moving constantly
• Ability to bend and kneel
• Ability to carry 40 pounds or more
