• Oversee the daily operations of the cafe, including managing staff, scheduling, and ensuring efficient workflow
• Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, presentation, and customer service
• Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain customers, as well as increase sales and profitability
• Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to optimize efficiency and minimize waste
• Train and develop staff members, fostering a positive and productive work environment
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Collaborate with suppliers, contractors, and vendors to maintain strong relationships and negotiate favorable terms
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competition to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation

• Proven experience as a Cafe Assistant Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
• Sound knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, cost control, and inventory management
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proficient in using computer systems and software for ordering, scheduling, and reporting
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations and quality standards
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and evenings
