As the Associate Director of Group Sales & Events, you will report directly to the Director of Sales, Marketing, and Events, and become an integral part of a dynamic, passionate team that consistently earns top rankings in the industry for exceptional service and meeting planner satisfaction.
Your role will directly contribute to this continued success by focusing on positive sales growth, achieving your sales quota, and servicing group events. You’ll also play a pivotal role in mentoring and developing the next generation of hospitality professionals by assisting with hiring, training, and coaching group sales and event planning managers.
This position oversees and works closely with the Event Planning team to ensure the successful planning, coordination, and execution of all group events. You will collaborate with the Event Planning team and other hotel operations teams to guarantee the flawless execution of events, including room setups, banquets, and audiovisual needs, ensuring that every detail aligns with client expectations and upholds the hotel’s high standards.

Following is list of position expectations:
The salary range for this position is $97,800 to $151,400 per year. This is the pay for this position that Grand Hyatt at SFO reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors such as experience and education.
