Job Summary
Responsible for preparing, assembling and packing raw and/or cooked food items in accordance with specifications and USDA/FDA/HACCP standards. Performs job duties in a timely manner to ensure smooth and efficient production flow. Washes, cleans, and cuts raw food products in accordance with established Company and Customer procedures. Keeps kitchen and work areas clean, sanitary, and well maintained. Maintains proper temperatures of all food products. Assumes other related duties as required or assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
Must be able to work around moving parts/equipment
Must be able to walk/stoop/ bend/ stand for entire work shift (up to 8 hours or more)
Must have the ability to work in a cold environment with a constant 38–40 degrees’ temperature for up to 8 hours or more with appropriate insulated clothing
Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. (includes china, product, silverware)
Must be able to use fingers & hands to handle equipment
Must have the ability to use knives, cutting board, mobile shelving, carts, meat slicer, and related industrial kitchen equipment
Must be able to speak, read and understand English
Must possess Basic math skills
Must apply effective Food Hygiene practices.
Must have good organizational skills and adaptable to frequent changes
Must have the ability to apply safety and sanitation standards
Must be flexible to work early shift, weekends and holidays; subject to change due to shift bidding
Other duties assigned by management as needed
