Amoura: Fresh Mediterranean is a family-owned and operated quick-serve (QSR) cafe situated in the bustling San Francisco International Airport. Our mission is to serve our guests fresh, delicious Mediterranean cuisine with a warm and welcoming touch. We are on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Airport QSR Manager who is eager to lead and inspire our team.

The General Manager is professional, organized, and ready to provide great service, with communication, quality and problem resolutions, and is natural in connecting with customers in a fast-paced, high volume environment. The manager is interested not only in self-growth but ready to contribute to the overall culture and business by being a leader, problem solver, self-starter, who is also supportive of their co-workers while managing day-to-day operations. The manager must also understand and have high expectations in food safety, food handling, and preparation.

Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may include:

Coordinates food service activities of Fresh Mediterranean Cafe at SFO serving Breakfast items, Wraps, Sandwiches ,and other plates.

Manage day-to-day operations by providing great customer service.

Prepares and cooks meals while providing consistent quality food made from scratch

Accommodates and documents the needs of the customers while communicating those needs to the staff to ensure guest satisfaction.*

Understands how to manage labor, estimate food and beverage cost, and requisitions, along with cost of goods, and controllable expenses.

Plans weekly work schedule for staff, ensuring compliance with State and Federal Laws.

Inspects food and food preparation to maintain quality standards and sanitation regulations, including proper handling and temperature control of all food items.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of work stations, equipment, and storage areas throughout each shift.

Investigates and resolves food quality and service complaints.*

Reviews financial transactions and monitors budget to ensure efficient operation and to ensure expenditures stay within budget limitations.*

Controls and counts all charge and cash purchases at the end of each shift.

Maintains a program for sound employee relations and the safety of all employees.*

Oversees and monitors portion control standards of food and beverages for the staff.

Qualifications

Manager must have 2-3 years of experience managing in a fast-paced environment like the Airport.
