The Opportunity
As an Assistant Manager Trainee, you’ll receive structured, hands-on training in both operations and business management. You’ll work side-by-side with experienced leaders, learning how to manage shifts, lead teams, and make smart business decisions in a dynamic airport setting. This role is perfect for someone with restaurant or café experience who’s ready to grow into management and develop the skills for a long-term hospitality career.


Training & Advancement Pathway
- Initial Training Period (0–6 months): $52,000–$55,000 annual salary
- Learn operations, food safety, scheduling, and team leadership
- Participate in development sessions and performance check-ins
- Performance-Based Review (6–12 months): Opportunity for promotion and salary increase to $58,000+
- Transition into full Assistant Manager responsibilities
- Continued mentorship and advancement within Bacon Bacon and Silver Dragon Café

- Support daily operations and lead by example on PM shifts
- Assist in managing team workflow and maintaining guest service standards
- Learn scheduling, timekeeping, and inventory management
- Support staff training and cross-functional development
- Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and quality standards
- Engage with customers and uphold Bacon Bacon’s upbeat brand culture

Qualifications

Who You Are
- Have 1–2 years of experience in a restaurant, café, or other fast-paced foodservice environment
- Reliable, motivated, and ready to take on new challenges

- Strong communicator who thrives in a team setting
- Curious about the business side of hospitality and eager to learn
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Able to meet SFO airport badging and background requirements
