Role Purpose Statement

We are currently seeking a standout leader to join our team as an Assembly Operations Supervisor, someone who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and is passionate about delivering quality products to our customers.

 

This role requires leading and engaging employees in safety and performance initiatives while ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulatory standards. 

 

We are a 24/7 facility and require schedule flexibility to meet operational needs.

Main Accountabilities

What You'll Do

  • Lead and supervise an assembly team responsible for packing and preparing a variety of airline items according to detailed specifications from our customers.
  • Ensure quality at every step by monitoring production processes and verifying that all outputs meet established standards.
  • Maintain a clear, organized workflow, managing open work items with targeted start/end dates that align with the master production schedule.
  • Foster continuous learning by supporting training, coaching, and development for all assembly staff.
  • Oversee sorting, wrapping, and packaging of airline dry goods, liquor, and equipment into airline carts, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and 100% compliance with customer requirements.
  • Ensure sanitation excellence and maintain production areas in full compliance with HACCP, FDA, USDA, and all internal hygiene standards.
  • Champion regulatory compliance across all relevant agencies, including FDA, USDA, OSHA, EPA, DOT, and HACCP.
  • Work in a refrigerated environment for extended periods while maintaining focus and productivity.

  • Manage labor efficiency and departmental costs, taking proactive corrective action when performance deviates from targets.
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement, supporting key initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, Employee Safety Programs, Production Systems, and HACCP.
  • Build a positive, inclusive, and performance‑driven work environment where employees feel valued and empowered.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Industry experience in food processing, food distribution, food manufacturing, or a similar fast‑paced operational environment
  • Deep understanding of food safety and compliance, including GMP and regulatory standards essential to high‑quality food production
  • Strong leadership and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling you to build trust, influence others, and maintain positive team relationships
  • A passion for developing people, coaching teams, and driving results that meet or exceed productivity targets
  • Working knowledge of OSHA, GMP, FDA, USDA, and EPA requirements, ensuring a safe, compliant, and efficient operation
  • Exceptional organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities without missing a beat
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows-based systems, along with the ability to quickly learn new applications
