Job Description

Position Summary

A Cabin Service Agent is responsible for cleaning and preparing aircraft cabins between flights to ensure they are safe, sanitary, and ready for passengers. The role includes cleaning aircraft interiors, restocking supplies, and performing security checks according to airline and airport regulations.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Clean aircraft interiors including seats, tray tables, windows, and overhead compartments.

Vacuum floors and remove trash from seat pockets and aisles.

Clean and sanitize lavatories and galleys.

Restock aircraft supplies such as:

safety cards

magazines

airsickness bags

toilet paper and soap.

Arrange seatbelts, blankets, and other cabin items to airline standards.

Conduct aircraft cabin security searches to identify suspicious or prohibited items.

Report maintenance issues, irregularities, or security concerns to supervisors.

Follow TSA, airline, and company safety regulations.

Work with team members to prepare aircraft for the next boarding and departure.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Previous cleaning or custodial experience is helpful but not always required.

Must have reliable transportation.

Must be able to read, write, and follow instructions in English.

Must pass:

background check

drug screening

airport security clearance (SIDA badge).



Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and move throughout the aircraft during shifts.

Work in a fast-paced airport environment with occasional noise and varying weather conditions.



Work Environment

Airport gates and aircraft cabins

Shifts may include overnights, weekends, and holidays

Work may involve both indoor and some outdoor tasks.
